How do you test the Tivoli Storage Manager TSM Client?

Click-->Start--> Programs--> Tivoli Storage Manager--> Backup-Archive GUI.
It would ask for user name and password.Enter the user name and password which was set by the admin on the Backup server earlier.
Once its entered you should be able to get in to the TSM client application.
If you are geting any errors please check the following more configurations on the file dsm.opt.
This file is located on Tivoli/tsm/baclient folder.
You could find here the
Nodename - Name of the tsm client
TCPSERVERADDRESS - TSM Server IP
TCPCLIENTADDRESS - TSM Client IP etc....

Also make sure "TSM Client acceptor" Service is running.

If not run makesvc.bat on the same above mentioned folder to create this service.
